Dip Dye – mein Shirt kriegt nen blauen Kragen

Ich habe neulich irgendeiner Zeitschrift eine weiße Bluse entdeckt, die am Kragen diesen wunderbaren blauen Farbverlauf hatte. Perfekt zu Jeans, passt auch ins Büro… aber leider habe ich so ein Teil nirgends gefunden. Entweder waren die letztes Jahr Mode, und das ist an mir vorbeigegangen.. oder ich bin meiner Zeit voraus 🙂

Und das ich das sofort nachmachen muss, war ja klar …

Ihr braucht:

• weiße Bluse, idealerweise hoher Baumwollanteil, hier hält die Farbe länger
• Farbe – ich habe Simplicol dunkelblau genommen
• Färbesalz (falls es auf der Packung der Farbe steht)
• 1 Glasschüssel

Das Ganze geht ganz einfach:

1. Für einen Blusenkragen eine große Glasschüssel mit ca. 2 l warmem Wasser füllen
2. 1/3 Packung der Farbe, des Farbverstärkers und des Salzes hinzugeben (ich hab das frei Schnauze gemacht)
3. Bluse am Kragen und bis ca. 20 cm unter Schulternaht anfeuchten und ausdrücken – das führt dazu dass die Farbe kontrollierter kriecht
4. Bluse an einen Kleiderbügel mit Klammern so befestigen, dass sie ca. bis 20 cm unter Schulternaht in der Farbe hängt
   Ich habe die Schüssel einfach in die Badewanne gestellt, und den Kleiderbügel mit einer Schnur am Duschkopf befestigt. So konnte ich kontrolliert eintauchen….
5. Nach ca. 30 min die Bluse rausziehen und mit der Dusche zum Kragen hin abbrausen. So entsteht der leichte Verlauf
6. Das Ganze jetzt nur bis zum Kragen nochmal für 30 min eintauchen. Der Kragen wird jetzt richtig tiefblau.
7. Alles gut abspülen (wieder mit der Dusche) und dann im Kurzwaschprogramm in die Waschmaschine….. voila!

Ich persönlich bin total begeistert und werde garantiert noch mehr färben! Übrigens ein hervorragendes Mittel wenn der Blusenkragen z.B. von Makeup eh gelblich ist *da lacht die kluge Hausfrau*

Recently I have seen a magazin with a dip-dyed shirt…. a white shirt with a blue collar. Unfortunately this was some designer brand and I am not willing to pay that much money for clothes.

You need:

• a wihte shirt with a high amount of cotton
• a colour for clothes
• a glass bowl

The doing is very simple:

1. Fill the bowl with 2 l of warm water
2. put approx 1/3 of the colour (perhapse you need to add some salt or fixing) in the warm water
3. dip the shirt into warm water, but only the collar and additional 20 cm (this part will be dyed)
4. Fix the shirt on a hanger (I attached the hanger to the shower and put the bowl simply in the shower)
5. Dip the collar + 20 cm of the shirt into the water and leave for 30 min
6. After 30 min take the shirt out and use the shower to rinse the colour out (always in direction to the collar – there we get this faboulous wash-out-effect)
7. Dip the collar for additional 30 min. The colour will get very intense here
8. rinse again… and wash in the washing machine (if possible – use a short program)
9. et voila.. it is ready!

I love the effect! The positive thing about this is, that you get rid of a stained collar (I tend to mess it up with my make up)
