I love the classic eggnog cake, but unfortunately the recipe is not very dukan like.
A nice version is possible thanks to the recipe on the original Dukan Homepage
The classic Dukan Cheesecake (small baking tin)
- 500 g quark low fat
- 3 egg white
- 2 egg yolk
- Sweetener of your choice (replace 150 g of sugar)
- 1/2 pack of vanilla custard powder
- 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
Preparation:
- Stiff whipe the egg white with a pinch of salt
- Whip the egg yolk till it is creamy, add the sweetener
- Mix all the other ingredients with the egg yolk and carfully work in the egg white
- Fill in the baking tin and bake on 170 degrees celsius for 45-50 min
In the meantime – prepare the eggnog
- 2 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon of liquid sweetener
- 1/2 tea spoon of vanilla (essence or real)
- 100 g low fat cream cheese
- 200 ml low fat milk
- 3 drops of rhum aroma
- 2 tea spoons of gelatine (one you can use cold)
Preparation:
- Whip the egg yolk with the sweetener till it is light yellow and creamy
- Add the vanilla
- Mix the other ingredients and carefully work in the egg yolks
- put in the fridge till the cheesecake has cooled down
- add the gelatine with some cold water and pour on cheesecake. Store in the fridge overnight
